Koalabs

Built the platform for Koalabs, a US software consultancy delivering innovative custom development, cloud architecture and technical consulting across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, with a track record of more than a hundred successful projects.

The problem

A consultancy that works across all three major clouds is making a specific claim: that it picks the right platform for the client rather than the one it happens to know. That claim is easy to make and expensive to back, because genuine multi-cloud competence means maintaining three sets of practices instead of specialising in one.

Constraints

The audience is technical. Buyers are engineering leaders who have read a lot of consultancy marketing and discount most of it, so the platform had to communicate depth to people equipped to check.

Working across three clouds also rules out anything that assumes one. Patterns had to hold regardless of which provider a given engagement landed on.

What I built

The platform, alongside the cloud architecture practice it represents — AWS, Azure and GCP, with the portfolio of delivered work as the evidence.

The architectural through-line is provider-agnostic thinking: leaning on the abstractions that exist everywhere and being deliberate about the places where a provider-specific service is genuinely worth the lock-in it creates. That is the actual skill being sold, and the platform had to make it visible.

Outcome

A platform that presented a hundred-plus delivered projects as evidence rather than assertion, for an audience that would have discounted anything less.
