Working with the Netherlands

The work behind this is Dutch. The airport operations platform was built for KLM, and the Single Digital Gateway programme delivers the service information every Dutch municipality, province and water authority is required to publish. Both are systems with real operational consequences when they are wrong.

Being in the country matters less than people expect for the work itself, and more than they expect for the scheduling. Same timezone, same working week, no standup at seven in the morning to catch an overlap.

Fractional VP of Engineering Delivery and the team 1–2 days/week · 3-month min Team outgrew ad-hoc coordination

All four run at the same shape — one to two days a week, three months minimum. The detail of each, and what you are left holding afterwards, is on the advisory page.

The work behind it

Eleven years building and leading engineering teams, including KLM’s airport operations platform and the Single Digital Gateway programme used by every Dutch municipality, province and water authority. Deciding between the first two engagements is its own question — fractional CTO versus a full-time VP of Engineering works through it.

Does Dario Mory work with companies in the Netherlands?

Yes — he is based in the Netherlands. Past Dutch work includes KLM’s airport operations platform and the Single Digital Gateway programme used by every Dutch municipality, province and water authority.

Can a Dutch startup hire a fractional CTO instead of a full-time one?

That is the usual reason to call. The split is whether the bottleneck is decisions or people: decisions are low-frequency and high-consequence, which a fractional engagement suits, while people problems accumulate daily and need someone full-time.
